We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our team and work on the development of novel porous polymers for environmental applications. The position involves synthesis, characterization, and testing of new materials for water purification and PFAS removal.
Requirements
- MSc in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field
- Experience in organic synthesis
- Strong analytical skills (NMR, FTIR, BET)
- Excellent English communication skills
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals (preferred)
A postdoctoral position is available to work on circular recycling of thermoset polymers. The ideal candidate will have experience in polymer processing, depolymerization chemistry, and life cycle assessment. This is a 2-year position with possibility of extension.
Requirements
- PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Proven track record in polymer recycling
- Experience with GPC, DSC, TGA
- At least 3 publications
- Ability to supervise graduate students
Summer research opportunity for undergraduate students interested in materials science and environmental chemistry. Students will gain hands-on experience in polymer synthesis, characterization techniques, and data analysis.
